Driving
Great for a few nights, Las Vegas is a 4 1/2 hour drive from Phoenix. Tons of fun for a long weekend or whole week. The drive to Las Vegas crosses through Kingman, and beautiful Boulder City. You can even detour to see the world famous Hoover Dam (or take the bypass if you're in a hurry). Hit the US 60W until Wickenburg, then follow the US 93N. Once you hit the Henderson area, get on the I-215 W for a few miles, and then exit at Las Vegas Boulevard, turn right and you'll be pointed directly at The Strip. Enjoy the view driving into town.
